How to Watch NFL Games Live with Sling in 2025

The NFL is back and Sling has more options than ever to watch your favorite team. Here’s a detailed look at how to watch the most NFL games with Sling.

Following the most-watched Super Bowl of all-time, anticipation for the 2025 NFL season is at a fever pitch. Can Saquon Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles ride the momentum of their dominant Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs to a second-straight title? Can the Chiefs put the embarrassing loss behind them to return to the big game for a record-tying fourth straight year? Will other contenders like the well-rounded Baltimore Ravens, Hard Knocks stars Buffalo Bills, NFC fat cats Detroit Lions, or even the surging Washington Commanders get over the hump to make the Big Game?

We’ll soon get clarity on all of these questions and more when the NFL season kicks off on Thursday, Sept. 4 with the Eagles hosting the Dallas Cowboys on NBC. That’s followed the next day (Friday, Sept. 5) by the first-ever game on YouTube – the Chiefs vs. the LA Chargers live from Corinthians Arena, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Watching that game is easy enough for anyone with an internet connection, but with more NFL broadcast partners and streaming platforms than ever in 2025, there’s understandable confusion on how to watch the most NFL games.

That’s what we’re here for. Here’s a complete look at how to watch the most NFL games with Sling.

How to Watch NFC Teams on Sling

If you live in a TV market with an NFC team, you’ll want to subscribe to Sling Blue or Orange + Blue. That’s because local FOX affiliates (which carry the majority of NFC games) are included with Sling Blue in 14 of 16 NFC markets (New Orleans and Charlotte are the only NFC markets without a local FOX affiliate on Sling). Even better, the local NBC affiliate is available on Sling Blue in seven of the 14 markets with local FOX channels, so you can watch Sunday Night Football as well. Select markets will also have their local ABC affiliate, which will carry select Monday Night Football games this season.

This season, there’s another option for watching NFL games on FOX, NBC and/ or ABC with Sling: the new Sling Select package. Depending on your local market, this package includes those local channels, along with NFL Network and other popular channels like FOX News and FX, all for just $24.99 with one or two locals, or $29.99 in markets with all three. A subscription to Sling Select or Blue also means you’ll get to watch the six International Games on NFL Network this season.

Here’s the full list of cities with their local FOX, NBC and/or ABC affiliates on Sling Blue and Select:

How to Watch AFC Teams on Sling

If your local market is home to an AFC team that plays most of their games on CBS, you’ll want to consider getting an OTA Antenna to watch games. OTA Antennas give you all of your local channels free of charge, so you can watch games on CBS, FOX, and NBC without a streaming subscription. All CBS games will also be available to stream on Paramount+.

How to Watch Monday Night Football on Sling

To watch Monday Night Football on ESPN with Sling, all you’ll need is a subscription to Sling Orange, or Sling Orange + Blue. With Sling Orange, you’ll also be able to watch Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli, aka The Manningcast, on ESPN2, along with select Monday Night Football double-headers on ESPN3.

Monday Night games and the Manningcast are also available with the all-new Day Pass or Week Pass subscription from Sling. With this subscription, you can get 24-hour or week-long access to all Sling Orange channels, all for just $4.99 for a Day Pass or $14.99 for a full week. And this is a one-time charge, so you don’t have to worry about remembering to cancel your subscription. Use the link below to try the new Day Pass today!

To watch Thursday Night Football games, you’ll need a subscription to Amazon Prime, as they will no longer be available through the NFL Network on Sling Blue. However, keep in mind that if your local team is playing on a Thursday or Monday night, your game will also be available to watch on a local channel.

How to Watch NFL RedZone on Sling

Lastly, fantasy football fans can get seven straight hours of commercial-free football every Sunday on NFL RedZone by subscribing to Sling Blue (or Orange + Blue) with the Sports Extra pack. In addition to NFL RedZone, the Sports Extra pack has almost two dozen sports channels, including MLB Network, NBA TV, FS2, and the Tennis Channel, plus college-focused channels like the SEC Network, the Big 12 Network, and ACC Network.
So whether you’re a football obsessive that wants highlights from every game or you just want to watch the Manning brothers laugh it up with special guests on Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli, Sling has as much or as little NFL football as you want.
