Device Specifications
The Sling TV app is available on specific Amazon Echo Show devices:
- Available on Echo Show 8, Echo Show 10, and Echo Show 15
How to Watch Sling on Echo Show Devices
To get started:
- Say "Alexa, go to Setting"
- Select 'TV & Video' under the 'Alexa Preferences' section
- Then, select Sling TV from the list of available providers
Once the Sling TV app is downloaded and your login credentials have been stored, you can launch Sling by using voice commands like, "Alexa, launch Sling TV" or "Alexa, open Sling."
You can also access any channel directly from the Echo Show home screen after your first log-in by saying, "Alexa, watch AMC" or "Alexa, tune to ESPN." In addition to being able to stream the live TV you love, you can access up to 150,000 on-demand movies, TV shows and more.
For added convenience and ease of use, you can even control your content playback with voice commands like, "Alexa, pause," or "Alexa, resume."

Alexa voice control is available on Amazon Fire TV devices with Sling TV.
Use an Alexa Voice Remote, Fire TV or Fire TV Stick, or pair any Alexa-enabled device, such as Amazon Echo Show.
The following Alexa commands are currently available with the Sling TV app:
Access Sling TV
“Alexa, open Sling ”
“Alexa, go to Sling TV”
“Alexa, watch ESPN on Sling TV”
Change Channels
“Alexa, go to HGTV”
“Alexa, watch ESPN”
“Alexa, tune to Discovery Channel”
Video Controls
Please note, the below features are not available on all channels.
“Alexa, pause”
“Alexa, resume”
“Alexa, rewind” (rewinds 30 seconds)
“Alexa, rewind 10 seconds”
“Alexa, go back 1 minute”
“Alexa, fast forward” (fast forwards 30 seconds)
“Alexa, fast forward 5 minutes”
“Alexa, start over”
“Alexa, play from the beginning”

When using Alexa voice control, if you receive an error message, like an Error 1-777, the requested content is either not currently part of your subscription or not available on Sling TV:
If you are not subscribed to the content you want to watch, you can instantly make changes to your subscription by logging on to your My Account page.
