Changing Your Subscription Services
You can make changes to your Sling TV subscription services anytime through your My Account page. Start by logging into sling.com/my-account with your username and password, then select the Edit Subscription button on the dashboard.
How to Change Your Subscription Services
You can easily change your Base Service from Sling Orange to Sling Blue or vice versa from the My Account page using a computer browser:
- Log in to sling.com/my-account and click the Edit Subscription button
- Click the SELECT button below the Base Service you'd like to switch to
- You can also add Extras and Premium Services
- NOTE: The availability of some channels with an Extra may vary depending on your Base service

- Once you’re satisfied, scroll to the bottom of the page and select the Review button (sometimes found in the footer of the page)
From there, follow the on-screen instructions to review and confirm all of your subscription changes.
- Sign in to your account then select Manage from the Add-ons section.
- Select Add from any card to include those channels in your subscription.
- Select Remove from any card to take those channels and associated costs off of your subscription.
- When prompted, select Confirm to apply the changes to your account.
When you add content to your subscription, the change will take place immediately.
When you remove add-ons from your subscription, the change will take place at the end of your current billing cycle.

Sling Extras are mini channel collections sorted by category that start at just $6/month in addition to the cost of your Base Service. There are many combinations available - Simply Pick your favorite channels and create a customized lineup, just for you.

Premiums are premium channels, like Paramount+ with SHOWTIME and MGM+, that can be added on to your existing Base Service subscription. Adding a Premium service to an existing subscription is similar to adding an Extra:
- Log in to your account and select Edit Subscription
- Find Premium services under the section that details your current subscription
- Select Show More to see all available services
- Press ADD for any Premium service you want to add. The ADD button will change to 'ADDED' and turn from orange to grey when selected
- If you change your mind about a service you've added to the order, simply click Added to deselect the option
- Once you’re satisfied, scroll to the bottom of the page and select the Review button (sometimes found in the footer of the page)
From there, follow the on-screen instructions to review and confirm your subscription changes.
On most devices, you can add Extras and Premium channels from the Sling app.
Go to Settings, then select Add Channels & Services to explore Extras and Premium services, and choose your favorites.
If you don’t see the option to add content from your Sling app, visit sling.com and log in to your account to make changes to your subscription.
If you created your Sling TV account through your Amazon device, you can make changes to your subscription in the Sling app.
- Launch the Sling app, select Settings then Account
- Select Add/Remove Service
- If you want to change your base service, you can do so on the first page. To bypass this page, select Continue
- Note: Changing your base service will automatically remove any Extras you currently subscribe to
- Next, select any Extras you want to add
- Once you’re satisfied, confirm your selections, then review the changes and hit Finish & Submit
- Follow the on-screen instructions to finalize your subscription changes

Frequently Asked Questions
Charges for any Extras added to your subscription are collected immediately at a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle. On your renewal date, you’ll be charged the full price for your new service.
When removing an Extra from your subscription, the Extra will be removed from your subscription on your renewal date, and you won’t be charged for the service.

The availability of certain channels in an Extra can vary depending on which base service you subscribe to. To make sure you should be receiving a channel:
Confirm your service(s) in the Sling app by selecting Settings, then Account. You’ll see your current subscription(s) listed on the page
Visit our Service Optimizer and search for your channel to make sure it’s available with the base service + Extra combination you’re currently subscribed to
If the channel isn’t available with your current base + Extra subscription (and you still want to see it), follow the steps for Changing Your Base Service above
If you have the correct subscription and you’re still not seeing your channel, try the following:
Give it a few minutes: Most subscription additions take place within a few seconds, but it can take up to 10 minutes for channels to be added
Relaunch the Sling app: The app may just need to refresh
If you’re still not seeing your channel, try troubleshooting the issue
If you’re seeing errors on the Edit Subscription page such as long load times, frequent time-outs or buttons not being clickable, try switching to private browsing or incognito mode, or clear your browser cache:

- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right of the window click the three vertical dots
- Click More tools
- Select Clear browsing data from the menu
- At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Check the boxes next to Browsing History, Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files.
- Click the Clear data button.
(Mobile and Other Device Versions)
- On your mobile device or computer, open Chrome.
- At the bottom right of the window click the three horizontal dots
- Click History
- Select Clear browsing data from the bottom left of the window
- At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Check the boxes next to Browsing History, Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files.
- Click the Clear Browsing Data at the bottom of the window.
- At the top right of the browser window, select Settings and more (three horizontal dots)
- Choose Settings, then Privacy and services
- Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear
- Choose a time range from the Time range drop-down
- Select what types of data you want to clear
- Select Clear now
- In the menu bar (top left) of your Safari browser window, click History
- Choose Clear History
- Choose a time frame from the drop-down
- Select Clear History
